The origin of Vescore Group is in the vicinity of the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where Vescore Solutions AG was founded in January 1998 by Prof. Dr. Heinz Zimmermann and Dr. Peter Oertmann. The parent company in St. Gallen today comprises the main cross-sectional functions, business relations to our global product partners, as well as client relations in Switzerland.
Since 2001 Vescore has a 100% subsidiary in Munich. Portfolio management, system development, and marketing and sales for Germany and Austria are pooled by Vescore Deutschland GmbH.
In 2003, Vescore Solutions AG acted as co-founder of LPX Group, Zurich. LPX Group has pioneered Listed Private Equity index series and is an innovative index sponsor in the field of listed alternatives. The LPX Group index series provide the basis for a broad array of innovative financial products.
In 2005 Vescore accompanied the foundation of CYD Research GmbH, a Zurich based company focused on active investment strategies in commodity futures markets. CYD is currently an innovative leader in this segment. Vescore has a 90% stake in CYD Research GmbH.
